I hope its okay

I hope everyone will be okay with me posting here for a while. I honestly don’t know what else to do right now. I’m so completely lost, and my heart is shattered. I’m just trying to get through each moment as it comes because I don’t know how to do this. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do without him. I’m scared, I’m hurting, and I feel like I’m falling apart. I’m just hoping that keeping everyone updated and having you all here with us will somehow help me make it through this.

I would recommend one thing I learned during my own experiences with the passing of loved ones.

As much as is feasible, try to maintain household schedule. Getting up, breakfasting, etc. That’s part of the framework of the family. It will help a little with the lostness.

And of course, you can post here whenever you like. Jeremy was part of this family, so you are too. Let us help with some of the burden. It will help us, too.

When my late husband passed, I started experiencing what I now believe were “unnecessary adrenaline loads.” There were so many emergencies and ER trips for 14 months that I think I constantly felt that I couldn’t just be sitting. There must be something urgent I had to do. Something that would fix this.

Maybe prepare for that.

We loved Jeremy. Jeremy loved you. In families, that means you are our son-in-law and loved as well.
Of course it's ok. We're all here for you.

Please feel the love from all your friends here on Similar Worlds, Joel.
We are with you for time immemorial.
Every time you feel like exploding, come here and share your pain.
Many of us here have cried since you first shared the loss of Jeremy.
I have a real broken heart when thinking about this. The children, as well as yourself, Joel, and Grandma and Star and Buddy are going to be receiving so much love.

Jeremy will always be with you. His spirit is forever...and it's absolutely ok for you to post Joel. He'd be happy for you to. How are the kids holding up?

Jeremy will always be with you Joel. You have family members and friends around you for support. We will also be here for you just as we were here for Jeremy whenever he needed to post something.

I knew of him but never really Knew Him.
But he seemed to be a wonderful person.
I know a lot of people here loved him.

I am so very sorry for your loss and I hope that you and yours return to a semblance of peace in time.

Be well,
Rob

Please go on and write here.. do not worry about doing anything. Accept all the help you can receive from family and others and try to rest and do the simple things, take a shower, drink something, eat a little.. the everyday things.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
You can post all you want. We all understand? I was going to suggest that to you earlier, but I left it alone. This was his way of sharing his life with us. You can do the same.
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
