Why do certain websites (including Similar Worlds) falsely accuse different people of being the same person when I know they are not?

Logical answers only, please. Note that "Using the same IP" is not a logical answer because I am the manager of an Internet café and lots of people use my premises to access various sites. I don't see why the site admin can't accept that. So remember, just because you've detected a certain computer being used, you have no way of seeing who is using it, so please stop these accusations.

Because the likelihood of two different people using this site from the same Internet cafe is slim.

This isn’t Facebook or IG.

@BillyMack I know a couple of dozen people who use my Internet café because they live around here. Many of them have used my premises to create their accounts on this site and others. If you look through their postings you'll soon see that they are not the same person.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout It's been going on here since 2020. It happened on Answermug in 2015 and Answerbag in 2011.
Another source of IP's are VPN's, you pick a city and get an IP from that area. You may get the same IP as someone else, and not even someone from that same city.

@PoohSmasher Yes, but why does that make them the same person in the eyes of the site admin even when it's blatantly obvious they are different people?

No consequences.

@MrBrownstone There are consequences for false accusation where I live. Nobody takes that lightly here, we all take it very, very heavily.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Bewilderbeeste Prove it.
