So according to my poll/question: it seems that men are the ones who want to keep inboxes open without any no option to close it if we wanted to.

Let’s sit for a second and see how many “helpful comments” we will get about how we should just ignore the messages, how if we don’t reply they can’t message us again, how we can BLOCK the person, we can apply filters in the inbox, and we can even set our settings to block all messages and friend requests from age groups below 18, and 56and above!!!

I agree! I think we have all repeatedly seen the horrors that are female inboxes here.

I honestly feel like women would feel safer being able to just be if inboxes were able to be toggled off when/if we chose to do it. @Reject

@deathfairy Yeah, online harassment is a constant for women. I’d support any feature to shut off any amount of it. I’d probably use that myself. I don’t often get DM’ed but without being properly acquainted with them on posts, I’m really not interested.
