It is possible that the person who blocked you suffered a miscarriage or lost a child in infancy... making their concern for you also a matter of trauma for them.

Yeah, any time we are excited or happy about pretty much anything, someone is going to try to ruin it.

As far as people blocking - they do that a lot over petty reasons, try not to take that aspect of SW personally.

Im happy for you to share your excitement. The person could possibly have suffered loss, miscarriage or have infertility struggles and your posts triggers them.

I’m sorry that happened. This is a wonderful time for you and your family, people should be supportive and pleased.
And I imagine most of us are very happy for you.

The concept of someone wanting you to feel bad, when it's important that you feel good, is horrid. Try not to let it get to you though.❤

Yeah, in case you're not aware, there's an "old tradition" that says a woman should wait to announce the pregnancy because saying something too soon is "bad luck."
It's ok to continue that, but no one should get angry for breaking tradition. Hell, it may not even be apart of your culture.

Some people are just inherently sad and miserable. They don’t know how to handle when someone is happy.
