Sometimes, vague posting can help you process things before you approach the person directly. It can also help potentially give you other perspectives in generalities through comments, which could also lower your anger.
There's a difference between vague posting and passive aggressive behavior. If they are vague posting to simply stab at someone, just stab at them because I guarantee they aren't going to think your post is about them, and chances are, you are going to end up with a lot of apologies from everyone else but the actual person the post is about lol
