I like that SW has a feature where if you block or are blocked by someone, all their Alts are blocked too.

One guy has blocked me and at the exact same moment 3 female catfish looking accounts also became blocked.

That will save plenty of hassle.

It could explain why I’m seeing less people or posts but I rarely block, maybe they blocked me. Although blocking alt accounts when blocking the main one rarely works for me it doesn’t even work for me on Instagram and the whole idea started there first.

I didn't realize it had that feature but glad that the ones I've blocked so far won't be able to contact me again

How would it know which accounts belong to what user, unless they say? I have two accounts here myself, my other one being the following:

However, not everybody reveals which are their other accounts.

@uikakarotuevegeta The subject has moved along. I’ve reported you for using racist insults. This might be your next ban…
@AdmiralPrune and if you actually knew how this site worked, you'd know that moderation is non existent and legal enforcement of ToS is invalid
@AdmiralPrune oh no I'll get banned; surely, I can't just make more accounts, change my hardware IDs, and use a VPN/proxy/Tor

that's good to know 😄
I didn't know that
That is a very nice feature.
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
I wonder how they do that
pikminboy · 31-35, M
i dont think it has this feature.... i know someone who always creates new accounts to troll around and even if i block em, they keep coming
AdmiralPrune · 41-45, M
@pikminboy I’m certain I saw somewhere people saying it groups accounts to a device ID. So that if someone is accessing their alts from the same mobile or laptop n the site groups them. I maybe wrong.
@AdmiralPrune you know people can change their hardware IDs and/or just get a new device right? also, newer versions of Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows (idk about Linux) offer dynamic hardware IDs to be shown to websites and apps for privacy

Same for IP address bans; can just use a VPN, proxy, or Tor, or can just ask ISP to change it manually assuming they don't want to get a new modem/router
@AdmiralPrune no proof I see
ShenaniganFoodie · 36-40, M
You do know that 70% of users here are the SW Team !
NinaTina · 31-35, F
No it doesn't only with that IP it blocks,I you a smart troll u use different phone with different email and different internet
peterlee · M
@NinaTina How sad is that
@NinaTina well VPN, proxy, and Tor can circumvent IP bans; same with getting a new modem/router or asking ISP to change it
