I feel its time to take a break from SW

I dont know how to explain it but SW isnt the site it once was. There just isnt the interaction like it used to be. I sometimes wonder if thats the reason so many of the original crew have left.

When SW came along it was billed as the new EP. But it isnt. EP was a great site to use and people were much kinder and sympathetic.

So maybe a break is whats needed. Come back refreshed and revitalised. That might work.

Correct SW is no EP. While it has some of the same members who migrated it's definitely not the same neighborhood. The feed doesn't help with connections and so called forum groups and algorithm settings are a joke. They had the idea to grab users but the organization and execution is a disaster.
It's easy to understand any previous EP user losing interest.

@Gibbon I was barely on EP before it closed.
I know with SW, it is run more and more like a school outing.

@Punches That's somewhat true and the kids aren't in organized groups. With EP it was easy to treat your group of friends as a circle and not seek them out 1 by 1. Putting them as a priority in the feed algorithm filter does damn little to bring them forward here. I don't know what the feed was like before the changes I see mentioned but it's obvious according to people here during the change they made things worse not better.
