I think there may be a glitch on this site.

I have reason to believe that different people using the same computer in my Internet café are being treated as if they are the same person when they are not, and it has been brought to my attention that SW users are being auto-blocked just because they've used the same computer as a person who has already been blocked. Will SW please sort this mess out as soon as possible?
Two people in your same Internet café using SW?? How did this happen? Scandalous!! 😂

@SStarfish This is a mystery! I mean there's... let's be generous maybe 200 different users here from across the world and 2 of them just happen to use the same internet cafe, this is a job for Columbo. Oh and one more thing, how much would you say a coffee is in this establishment and the currency they use would that be USD or Euro or something else?
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
@SStarfish It is used by dozens of people every day.
@Bewilderbeeste but how did they know about sw? Did you leave it on screen? 😅

I don't think, blocking a user should do anything with IP address. It simply should be based on your login session. And if they are considering IP address solely apart from that, then this is a mistake.

Although, I myself noticed they allow few VPNs but block few.

Obviously they ain't magicians and that would happen on a lot of websites. I mean it stops people who are blocked from using alt accounts to bypass being blocked and 99% of the time other people won't be using the same machine or be in the same location...

So the best thing you can do is write to admin and politely explain the situation and they might well be able to sort it out for you.

@pentagrammom Please be serious. You know as well as I do that this site isn't that old.
@Bewilderbeeste do I really?
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
@pentagrammom How long have you been here?
Who has an internet cafe this side of 1998?

Must be an African nation?
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
@DazzaTheHutt I opened it in 2009. It's in England, just round the corner from my house.
@Bewilderbeeste Is the truth that you’re using multiple accounts from the same device and you’re frustrated with the IP blocking?
JonnyTesticles · 36-40, M
IP Tracer will find the location, if as you state it is found to NOT be Internet café the IP address will be auto blocked.

YOU need to prove to the SW Team it is a shared computer
@JonnyTesticles Nice caps
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
@JonnyTesticles The IP address is not static and it doesn't even trace it to my home city in most cases, so that will never work.
