I find myself missing early SW

It was so busy and chaotic and fun. Not being able to reply to comments wasn't great, but most of the people were which made up for the unfinished state of the site itself. It was then like living in a city condensed into a neighbourhood, while now it barely feels like a city block's worth of people sometimes. I described it then as like being in a once glorious city which had been mostly abandoned, and nowadays feels like that compared to early SW.

Sorry, I'm not sure why anyone would care about this maudlin rambling. Hopefully it'll make sense to someone. I feel like an old man recounting lost glory days to his grandchildren.
