Why Bother Commenting On Other SW User's Posts?

How do you feel when there is no response to your comments? No reply, no emoji, nada, nothing?

I realize that some posts get a number of responses so you may not be able to reply to everyone. But how about a simple smile or thumbs up acknowledging another SW members comments? I have written some genuine encouraging responses to posts, and i see the post.has comments and replies to other comments, but i see nothing. Is it a popularity contest here? Do people lack basic social graces.

Yeah, during day light hours like this morning I get up eat breakfast and get my mind and body ready for a hard day's work on the farm. Then I get at it. While eating breakfast and consuming the coffee (Like now I post and reply) and come back late evening after dinner and a shower to catch up.

Yesterday was going to a neighbor's farm to bust up concrete and bringing it home to fill in erosion washout areas as erosion control. Yesterday I brought home six loads equaling more the 6000 pounds then I weed wacked all the areas I keep weed wacked, and then push mowed some. Today is a wash and repeat with friends coming this weekend for a visit I wanted to have my farm looking good.
