Why do people send you a message or anser your message then sign off and dont talk?

The simple answer is, for a lot of us life just gets in the way.

I work a very demanding job. I’m often up and working by 5 AM, and because some of my coworkers are in different time zones, my day oftentimes end more than 12 hours later. SW is my outlet…and connection to the wider world, but I can only manage to be her sporadically…shrug.

Because people have lives. Get used to it. People do not hang on your every word, kiddo. They will message back when they can.

I'm going to make an assumption here based on your age and sex - you were trying to connect with somebody of the opposite sex and there may be people fitting those criteria on here but it's more likely that you weren't talking to one of them. I shall repeat my slogan about this; I don't believe anybody is real until I've had a pint* with them.
(And even then you can never be sure about real people's motives).

*Other beverages are available.

Get a job.
Get some interests. Do not live online. There is a whole resl world out there. Find it.

Maybe something came up. Until my days off its a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I to warn people its going be 3 to 7 business days excluding weekends and holidays before I can respond 😒

Get someone interested then drop them, I think most people here have had it happen. Don't get too close, nobody here is real until you've met them and had a drink together.

They could be bots

Because they are simply not interested. If they wanted to, they would. Simply put.

Maybe suddenly came up and they got busy.

I haven't experienced that.

I find that very strange too

They have things to do

Real life gets in the way...

Because they have a life offline

I am a full time caregiver to my wife. I also have to take care of everything in the house and run all the errands. Sometimes I just can't get back to people right away. Sorry ☹️
