what was the most painful grounding/punishment you received as a kid?

Punishment for me was making me stay in my room. I wanted to be outside, roaming, hunting, fishing. The most painful was when I had everything ready to go fishing and I was forced to stay home until it was dark and I couldn't fish.

@Musicman Grandkids are 15, 12, 12, 11. Our kids didn't require much discipline. We Restricted rights: video games, outside time with friends, etc.

@Musicman Yes. Our 15 yr old granddaughter can't wait to get her driver's permit. All of southeast Texas needs to be warned.
