what was the most painful grounding/punishment you received as a kid?

They were all pretty much the same. When I was a younger kid, my mom might slap me. After that, she was angry for however long. Both my parents would stay angry even after punishment was over and done with. That was the most painful part; believing they’d never forgive me for whatever it was I’d done.

I think it was my elementary school days. I had homework and my mother locked me out of the house while she went bowling with her friends. It was a nightmare

Quite a few rulers, sticks even a cricket bat were broken on me.
Forbidden to go out and talk with anyone, after I was caught smoking cigarettes in my school.
They loved me a lot, ❤️ no doubt about that, but wouldn't hesitate to punish if I did some mischief or if I had been disobedient.
I was a tough kid, good in academics, but breaking rules or restrictions, exploring forbidden things.

My dad took my bedroom door for 2 weeks because I slammed it.

Punishment for me was making me stay in my room. I wanted to be outside, roaming, hunting, fishing. The most painful was when I had everything ready to go fishing and I was forced to stay home until it was dark and I couldn't fish.

Many times, I had to kneel in the corner on hard, dried navy beans for an hour. That was after the beating.

Not seeing my boyfriend.. I didn’t really have any before that.

Belt. Always belt. But I don’t remember doing anything to deserve it. The memory is so foggy when it comes to “ why “ I got the belt
