Not at all. What is weird is how so many people want to insulate themselves from all the world's sensual experiences.
Philth · 46-50, M
@ninalanyon agree entirely.
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
My sister used to walk barefoot all summer, and as soon as I would take my shoes off I would step on a bee. Happened a few years in a row.
I also remember stubbing my toe running down the street barefoot. Practically takes the end of your toe off.
Memories of walking down the gravel back lane with no shoes. Can build callouses pretty quick that way.

@JamesBugman I do that all the time. I like how warm the ground feels sometimes. Not sure why but it relaxes me
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
@Dracula5555 Nudist beach next. :)
Roundandroundwego · 61-69
@JamesBugman I used to get a horrible reaction from stepping on them, but once on the beach, I sat on a bee and it stung me, but it hardly hurt at all.

Moss is amazing, as is mud!
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Philth Careful you don't get stuck in the mud!
Philth · 46-50, M
@ninalanyon you say that like it's a bad thing 🤣
morrgin · F
Is there a lawn that doesn't feel like that? I live in the Willamette Valley so I kinda give up eventually on moss control.
(I do like buying the "Steppable" plants that are meant to be walked on)

Roundandroundwego · 61-69
@morrgin yes. Last year I went to a party on a lawn so soft you'd want to take off your shoes. It had three different kinds of grass and some tiny plants with purple flowers, and the owners knew nothing about how they got there.
morrgin · F
@Roundandroundwego walking barefoot in grass is very energizing
Dracula5555 · 36-40, F
@morrgin it is fun definitely
Roundandroundwego · 61-69
Not weird.
Most kids who didn't wear shoes in Hawaii resented kindergarten because of the mandatory shoes.
"What you going make ME wear shoes? On top my FEETS? No way."

That's one of the wonderful things about being barefoot. The different textures you will feel under your soles.
Dracula5555 · 36-40, F
@Barefooter25 that's the best part especially after taking off my shoes and socks feels so nice
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
No. It's healthy. It's called grounding. Just be safe where you step.
Dracula5555 · 36-40, F
@GeistInTheMachine I mostly walk in grass and on warm cement. I have walked a little down the street too on a warm day and it felt nice. It was quite a relaxing thing

@Dracula5555 You can also get grounding shoes.
Bluedreamz · 26-30, F
I like the feeling of sand when on the beach but my feet are sensitive so I'm in socks when I'm at home
Dracula5555 · 36-40, F
@Bluedreamz I do that too because the ground can feel like ice. I do go bart more when it's warm
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Dracula5555 🤔have you ever tried walking on a lawn in bare feet that has moss in it and that spongy feeling under your feet
Dracula5555 · 36-40, F
@smiler2012 no never lol
RedBaron · M
Only if you think it is. Don’t concern yourself with other people’s judgement.
Dracula5555 · 36-40, F
@RedBaron I'm not concerned
