To like being barefoot and feeling the various ground textures under my feet

Is there a lawn that doesn't feel like that? I live in the Willamette Valley so I kinda give up eventually on moss control.
(I do like buying the "Steppable" plants that are meant to be walked on)

@morrgin yes. Last year I went to a party on a lawn so soft you'd want to take off your shoes. It had three different kinds of grass and some tiny plants with purple flowers, and the owners knew nothing about how they got there.
