Well, as someone with extensive knowledge of economics and human behaviour, the idea of buying affinity coins is appealing to some as collectibles, because they enjoy having that affinity, and as a way to express themselves as part of a community they identify with. So, as a capitalist, there is money to be made by giving those who are so inclined what they want. As a result, I'm not opposed to this although it is not something I am personally interested in and I would caution the innocents on here about thinking about what they can afford before jumping in.
