Interesting Male SWeeps love findings

Conducted an official poll recently asking single SW men what trait they want MOST in a gf or partner.
The top answer was a tie!! Kindness AND/OR Affectionate were the number one trait they want. (7 men said kindness, 7 said affectionate) Second place was Funny/humorous as a trait they want. Its interesting because now I wonder if each person had a different idea of what affectionate may be, or if all viewed it the same: a gf holding hands? Giving surprise kisses or hugs? ...or cuddles? Perhaps this will be another poll!!💋💜🌹

I saw your other post and intended to reply, but things popped up and I didn't get around to it. I do think it'd be a hard poll to answer, as in fairness multiple of those were almost equally important to me. But I digress...

You say you're wondering if people had a different idea of what "affectionate" may be, and to be honest I think that applies to almost everything on that list. Sure, a lot of traits have a certain common ground that most people would agree fall under that trait, but there's also a lot of variance even in something like "kindness". What one person considers especially kind, another thinks is just "normal", and yet another may think that is not a product of kindness.

I know this one wasn't on your list, but the same could be said for something like wanting a partner that is "romantic". Some think it's so incredibly romantic for their partner to make something big pop a ring in front of everyone at a restaurant , whilst others will absolutely loathe that and feel that it is more romantic for it to be a small, private and more intimate happening.

Or even in terms of affection as you mention: Someone may want a lot of physical affection in the calmness of their home, but aren't comfortable with public displays of it. Some may think affection is super-important to them, but at the same time may have experienced things that make it so can only handle a limited amount of it.

The way I see it, you don't really get anywhere close to an objective read from a poll like that. You get to know what someone wants based on their subjective definition of the traits.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet Ty for a thoughtful reply..there really are so many ways to view or think about a trait, like kindness or affection too.
