Is the world getting to druggy? Cats got cat nip and dogs got dog nip

It's called anise (or aniseed), also known as “dog nip,” and when given in moderation, it can have a stimulating effect on dogs. Anise, mixed in homemade treats, can be used during training sessions to get dogs psyched and motivated to learn.

I've heard of dogs that had a thing for licking psychedelic toads.

@MartinTheFirst I'm thinking of a specific incidence with a specific dog I read about. The owner would find the dog acting a bit out of sorts and take the dog to the vet who couldn't find anything wrong and the dog would get better. A few weeks later repeat. Eventually the owner caught the dog licking a toad and realized what was happening. It appeared to be getting high on purpose.

Costco puts it in their name branded dog biscuits. My dogs literally drool for them. I call it Dog Crack.

"The wildwood flower grew wild on the farm, and we never knew what it was called."
It grows wild around here, my dogs never seemed to show any interest.
