You gotta love the community double standards we have here

Some popular regular goes stalking and harassing a user with little to no clout here, that user gets blamed by said stalker for treating them poorly just because that user makes it clear they want their stalker to piss off, and everyone is just quick to side with the popular user. Lmfao, of course! If it was the other way around with some random nobody publicly calling out a well-liked reg, you could bet every coin to your name that it would play out very differently.

I would say this community makes me sick while pointing what a bunch of hypocritical sheep we have here, but I’ve seen this happen so many times, it does not even surprise me anymore. But you know, it’s also okay. It just shows the kind of people who actively support toxic behavior so long as the right person is doing it, making it clear to me who I need to avoid. Disgusting as it is, there’s still a silver lining, lol.

I’m hated by people who think abuse is fine but blocking people isn’t so..I’m good with it ! 😬

@SW-User Sounds about what you can expect here… I mean, if stalking and harassing is fine but wanting nothing to do with someone who does that to them isn’t. 🤪

@Ducky I find it amusing. They spend their life sucking the arses of abusers but get butthurt over being blocked on a website. Go figure.

Tis' true. Most humans are crowd followers.
I try to avoid it mostly. Preferring my own little independent space.
Its the injustice of the entire world ..not just here. And it is disgusting.

@Inthebackground That’s a good point.
This community does not have a singular mind.
The general response to any given subject will change based on the users at the moment in time that it takes place. More so after the fact.

I can't say that I have done this. I usually dig deep before taking a stance even if the person in question is a friend.

Except very very very rarely.
Ducky · 31-35, F
@Miram Same. I’ve had to distance myself from friends for doing shit like this. I’ll never turn a blind eye to bad behavior, not even my own when someone calls me out on it with valid reasoning.

Yep. It's the way of humans no matter how they like to preach they are unique, they are biased followers. This place is a big popularity contest.

I have no idea the story or who the people you are referring to are, but I have run into this many times on here, and is one of the reasons I almost left for good a couple years ago. I don't know if it's a SW thing or just a people thing, but I hate it as much as you do.
Magenta · F
@DDonde Indeed, it's very obvious. It's all about WHO the behavior is coming from.

I should also say some of the most horrible deeds in history have been done by popular people. For without the popularity they never would have been able to do so in the first place. It's a very human problem and history is riddled with it.

I would stand up for the person in question, justice will prevail 👍
