I'm concerned about SW....and us.

So, if you report a post, the member is IRREVOCABLY blocked.

Now, I do NOT want this to be a gloomy "Is SW dying?" thread. I've just noticed that the admins appear to be more "hands off" than they have been in the past, which makes me think, not unsupportedly, that their minds are elsewhere.

We don't even get announcements when new features get added--they just "appear". Poof. The autoblock is yet another feature that I find nearly impossible to understand. It's not that I lack the brain power to conceive of such a concept; I simply find it baffling.

I don't think this bodes well for the future of the site; go ahead and call me paranoid.

I wonder if some people want to exchange emails in case this place goes away. I know that I'd like to stay in touch with a few people here.

Yes, I thought the mods were fired, because I feel like I haven't seen them in over a year or two...

Someone said that's not the case... but I still haven't seen any mods being active...

And when the mods disappeared, the Admin started being more active, and now they have disappeared too...

I really feel this place has changed a lot and not for the better. I experienced less interaction then ever before. It’s turning into a ghost town. I’m thinking admin went on summer vacation recently.

@SW-User Yes. You can sense the bitterness and hate . They hsve no control over their emotions. Their emotions control them. Their demons. Their social ills and froward ways. Only a few can hold it in the road after a long period of time. When a person is straightforward they don't waver. Ever. So stay true to who you are at all times. And do not allow the low energy beings to get you off track. Good luck.. 🙂

@Zonuss The only way to protect yourself from the sneaky manipulative gangsters on here is to not interact with many people. They try to use your friends to get you in trouble. They tag team against you in many conniving ways. How is this place ever going to be enjoyable when the SW mafia is hiding behind the bushes and you have to constantly watch your back ? Impossible

I made a post about this but took it down because I was getting reported the same day for one of other posts. When a friend on here I actually liked was getting attacked I reported the user and I noticed that SW automatically blocks them for you after you reported them. So, I went to the admins and they said that I should be able to unblock after a few days, blocking should still be up to us

I personally think that they've kind of made it all it can be with our help. If they really wanted the publics opinion they should of had a 6 month panel that changes.
So that they can get members (long term) apply and offer feedback work with them to make it better.
Everyone else only needs to know what new in an announcement.
All this 100+ comments of complaining is draining.

Irrevocably? I knew it was automatic but then I thought you could just go unblock them if you were so inclined. That was experience a few weeks ago but maybe it changed.

perhaps if you have no confidence in admin to deal with this and being woolly. you need too deal with this person and the comment is block them and have no more too do with them if you find there remarks offensive [uncalled4]

If you don't want them blocked, go to your block list and remove them. Works for me...

@ScarletWitch & @uncalled4 I think it depends on what you report someone for and if you have ever reported them before. Report them another 1-2 times and they will be blocked. The first thing that happens is the post is hidden to you.

@Viper I have reported this person a lot. But there was the pedo guy I reported today and I can’t unblock him. I reported another account twice months apart and I can’t unblock that account either.

They just don’t want reports.

@iamonfire696 I think they set up some sort of automatic system, where if something gets so many reports in a certain time frame it automatically gets taken down.

And I guess if you report the same person so many times as well...
