2010. My son died.

2016-2017
Ended up in the psych hospital and lost my career that year.

2015 💔 it was the worst my mental health had ever been and I was in hospital , I nearly died from an suicide attempt and I had nobody. I had one friend but she didn’t understand me so we hardly hung out , I was horrible to her and now I’m trying to make it up to her. I got expelled from school and I was homeschooled, I had no escape and my dad abused me physically and mentally , I was into alcohol , I ran away , got into trouble with the police , I had an eating disorder that bad I didn’t eat i only drank , I tried to end my life over 10 times , I self harmed , I failed all my exams , I never got to go on holiday or out to do fun things , I slept in an damp bedroom I had to sleep In my coat it was that cold and damp , I can’t remember anything happy from that time expect for the fact I got free horse riding lessons and I used to volunteer most weekends at the stables , I loved that and that’s all I had going for me at the time. That saved my life.

This year. I realize that my body is aging and is not in the "Idc it's gonna heal" age range no more. And had to start to actually put effort into maintaining my health. Painful part is that, I'm playing catch up.
Sigh. Hope to see the bright light at the end of the tunnel, by the end of this year.

2008. I lost too many people in just one year and that feeling of sorrow was so intense, I still haven't come to terms with it. And i still don't know how to deal with death. + I had to deal with parents who kept telling me that I was not depressed and did not need any help I was "just a teen" (I was diagnosed with bipolar a few years later)

I wanted to post a lame joke in this thread, but there are so many sad stories here... 😢

2020 when I got covid, got it really bad.
2018 when the hub was in a car wreck
2022 when we got rear ended and I fractured my sternum
I'm ready for better years now...

😣 must be either 2014 or 1980 the first was my dad died suddenly it took us as a family a long time to recover and get back on our feet .the second one was i left school and took on an apprenticeship was i knew deep down was wrong for me and the bullies i got rid of when i left school where there . so i only subsequently only lasted six weeks [uncalled]

1990, my grandad died, my dog died, I had a leg in plaster for months and had to have surgery on my foot on the same leg that was already in plaster for other reasons.

Closely followed by 2004 to 2006 when I was ill for two years solid and barely ate or slept.

I am sorry you had so much loss. 😔 2020 wasn't so good for me either.

Working in a miserable job that averaged 50-60 hours but only being paid for 40.
Had my identity stolen and spent months and years cleaning that up. Every day I received several pieces of mail "congratulating" me on the new CC or line of credit fraudulently opened.
In the midst of a property dispute with my neighbors that had us suing each other over "2 inches of tax payer property" as my POS shit neighbor put it...
Dealing with stress related health issues due to all this, lower gi issues, not sleeping, chronic neck pain.
