Justice Thomas doesn't seem to realize that by "revisiting" one SCOTUS decision, he opens them ALL up to "revisiting" including this abortion decision and all his favorite gun decisions.

SCOTUS has had a longstanding policy of [i]'stare decisis'[/i] meaning later courts would respect the decisions of earlier courts - they might modify them, but willy-nilly reversing other SCOTUS decisions was off the table. You wanna reverse Dredd Scott? Pass a new law, or better, an amendment. This activist court has overridden 200 years of SCOTUS history, to the great future detriment of SCOTUS.

It's clear now that SCOTUS is and will always be just another partisan branch of government, and you cannot rely on whatever is law today still being law after another election

There are no constants in US life, everything shifts with whoever is in power in any given year or decade or generation. A right will be reversed tomorrow, and the reversal will be reversed in a decade, and so forth. Enjoy a right while you have it. Rights don't come from the sky, they come from whichever humans have power at the moment.
