Do you use the Collections facility here?

File your posts in "Collections" named by you?
So far I have filed 906 of my posts into 31 collections.
Makes it easy to find a past post.
Omg how long did that take? Lol

I mostly use the art one and there's a few for different kinds of music and one for venting which I have been ignoring lately.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether I think I started not long after it was introduced.
Laborious task which I might do for an hour at a time.
Many posts go into "Miscellaneous"
The category with the most entries is Music with 324 - not including "Country Music" - with 24

If i ever have the time, it might be useful when i want to find something someone might relate to on their post.
Right now, i just type in key words and "search"

Starting to.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@Starcrossed It is a bit of a chore if one was to try to categorise past posts.
Takes a long time.
Best to put all future posts into categories when posted.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
Yeah I did for a while but most of my recent posts are not in it lol. Just too much work. I've basically made two entire categories my folders lol
Gusman · 61-69, M
@Longpatrol Easier to categorise at the time you make a new post.

I don’t have many posts, but I’ve created two collections so far and I imagine there will be more.

Yes, I have one for my blog where I shamelessly post lots of pictures of my outings.
eyeno · M
Definitely makes posts easier to find for personal reference.

Now if only we could move/sort the whole collections (file) around.
I.e. left to right, etc.,.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@eyeno Yes, agreed. My first categories are now at the bottom - or extreme right - newer categories are at the top. I would rather reverse the list.
Oh well, first world problems 🤭
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
Can't say I do, but that's mostly because I've more or less given up on making posts here.

Even so, I find the collections feature implemented in a half-arsed way that makes it clunky and reduces its usefulness for me.

But I have to commend you for having gone through that many posts. Good job!
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@PirateMonkeyCabinet You could say that of most changes recently. Half arsed and clunky.

I'm normally one to defend the admins but they went and fixed something that was not broken.
