Why do people have to be so rude to me instead of helping me to straighten out misunderstandings on SW?

I don't see people actually being rude to me, I think they just ignore me.
And, I've had the same feelings about them helping me straighten out misunderstandings. Or, at least letting me know they've misunderstood something I've said to them. But, I guess their thinking they know the meaning of what I've said locks out their interest to look any farther. I think a lot of people just have to be right about everything, whether they're right or not.
