Have you ever closed a post here because responders were getting out of control and having a virtual slinging match?

@SW-User I don't delete them because the other posters not involved in the back and forth do not deserve that.

@DropTopDig I always have civilised, polite discussions regarding otherview conversations.
I listen to their point of view, I offer my point of view and move on.
If they try to engage in vitriol then I refuse to answer. Conversation over.

@Gusman No problem! :D I know I was harsh, I just hate censorship. Sorry I was so harsh, I looked back at what I said, you're a good guy, sorry.

@Allelse I always reread what I write to see how it sounds.
Then temper it if it comes across as harsh/unwarranted.
I allowed them to go at it for an hour, seeing that it was only degenerating, neither wanting to back down, so mediator Gusman gave them another 15 minutes for final thoughts, which were nothing more than same same.
I took away the "Shame" of one of them finishing the conversation by doing it for them.

@OogieBoogie I let it go for an hour, I even stepped in saying I will close this post in 15 minutes.
Right up until times up, they continued.
Thought they might have called a truce, did not happen.
