Profile pictures blurred?
I've noticed that some profile pictures are blurred. Why is that?

People don't always take good photos. People often believe their images from cell phones are good enough sometimes they are, often not.

Usually it's if you have your content settings on non adult or mildly adult but there is a small handful of users who's profile pictures will still be blurred whatever your setting is..
They'll usually have a weird fеtish picture like maybe an adult baby in a diаpеr or something along that line.

If you have adult content blocked, it can blur certain avatars of profiles containing adult content. Also, if someone, or yourself, has certain groups of people filtered, like an age group, the same thing happens.
If you have someone muted, their avatar will be blurred and comments hidden.
I don't think you're referring to the people you may have blocked, as their blurred avatars are only visible in your blocked list.

This site compresses all images.
If you open them up in another tab you'll likely get a slightly better image, yet it's still a compressed version.
The perma bur is for multiple reasons. Some due to under age, low reputation, or slightly controversial.

The person that posted it blurred it first. This is an anonymous incognito site...You never know who will is or will become a member...so to post and comment freely, they blur their pic or...Use something other than an actual pic.
