How did you hear/find SW, and what made you join??

I found this site, in a sort of convoluted way.

I found out about it through Quora, of all places.
When I was researching what The Experience Project was, the creator of EP had wrote about it in Quora, that he had deactivated the site indefinitely.
In this, I found a reply stating this here, SW was the new Experience Project.

In that, I had been looking for the Experience Project after I had watched an Investigation Discovery (ID Channel) program called Web of Lies... a crazy story. Only a few years old.
... it had definitely piqued my interest and sounded intriguing.

So... here I am 😝
I was on EP for years. A friend strong armed me into joining SW.

Now i cant escape

I asked Lord Google if there’s anything like EP was. It lied and said SW.

I joined EP in 2009 and stayed til closing. A friend let me know when SW was up and running in 2016.
I found EP by accident a few months before it closed. I tried several other sites, like relatetothat, Vent, Reddit, and a few others, and SW was the best I’ve found so far for an anonymous discussion site.

I was once logged in on facebook in 2008, when I saw an ad for EP, and joined because it said "experience project" and promised a safe space to share stuff. And I was a dysfunctional kid. It worked for me.

I discovered EP a year after it closed and browsed through what was left of it, until I one day I searched for "websites similar to Experience Project" and found SW.

I was on EP for several years and went to one of the sites user parties. This site was supposed to be the new EP. it’s not but it’s close and a fun time waster.
