My mom said it’s embarrassing for girls that don’t shave their armpits. What do you think?

In other countries it’s celebrated/modeled. There’s a popular website and I’m telling you EVERY chance they have to show some women armpit hair they show it off.

Funny because the generation of women that raised her most likely didn't shave.

I don't care about a bit of armpit or leg hair.💁‍♂️

It’s embarrassing for the judgmental people who see it and can’t deal with it since they don’t let theirs grow. I say there’s no problem with it if someone wants to let their armpit hair grow- or legs or pubic hair for that matter. Whatever makes a person happy, they should do it!

You know, it’s always going to be something. If you shave/wax your armpits they might get dark or razor bumps😒

It's dumb. I don't personally think pit hair looks good on anyone, but it also shouldn't be a social expectation. And also it's a matter of taste.

It's "embarrassing" because we've been raised on a diet of p*rn and "Are YOU ready down there/up here?" type vomit/adverts that make women feel insecure about their bodies. The adverts are literally designed to do that!

Girls should shave or not but it be up to them and no one else.

And if you do, at least be aware it's basically because we've been told to by gilette, who were wondering what to do with a bunch of spare razor blades once upon a time.

I think each should do as they choose. If anybody doesn't want her due to underarm hair, then that's a good thing to know about them, not her.
