Do you feel a certain amount of pride about your hometown?

Loretta7846-50, F Best Comment
Yes. I am feeling very proud of my hometown. It is a very ancient one with a beautiful history.

For many years we had high unemployment, and the young people moved away because there was no work for them.

But now it's nice to see how my hometown is growing: Many new jobs, the population is growing, many new buildings (senior residences, supermarkets etc.) are build right now, new streets, we have a good economics now, a very good university...

Yes. I am feeling very proud! 馃槉

Yes because it's tucked far away into the woods by the Atlantic ocean. It wasn't even on the map for a long time. I lived on an old dirt road in NC where all the wildlife there is protected, it's beautiful but hot and humid in the summer.馃馃崁馃惪馃惁馃挮馃寛馃巻馃尣馃尣馃尣I can still smell the pine trees!馃榿

Have the cops there started tasing people?
They do have them. But auzzie cops don't have the worry that 'anybody' could be armed..
They rarely pull weapons other then cap spray..
Unless it's a known hardass..

well the know how to throw a good block party and have a great NBA team, so fair to say somewhat proud. Don't get back their often enough though.

Not really. I've moved around just enough so I don't feel like I really have one. I dislike the place where I spent my most formative years.
I rather feel privileged to be another daughter of this Universe born in my hometown.

Nostalgic seconds would pass away in a while. 馃槍

It's a city. Not a real bad one, has some pretty spots. I wouldn't say I'm exceptionally proud of it or anything.

Very much. I loved being a New Yorker, but have lived in the south most of my life

well it survived the closest thing to a nuclear bomb that existed before the 1940s

Not really, it's a bit of a dump, unless someone is critical.
