Do we have any golfers here tonight?

I finally went into one of those play it again sports store's. They sell used sports equipment. I saw a black Callaway golf bag with white lettering for $39. It looked bran new. Is that a good price? I thought that stuff was expensive.

Well, I'd like to say I'm a golfer, except all my shots slice 90 degrees.

You can find some great bargains used, if the bags in decent condition it sounds like a steal. I think callaway's one of the big names. Clubs are where I'd think you'd need careful consideration, though.

@Stereoguy: Yeah, its really weird. Summers here are 93/104 with high humidity, typically.

84 is not bad, and really I dont mind rain. In FL i imagine its a thunderstorm burst which moves off quickly.

bags dont improve your swing.. i got a $200 set.. worked well for me the last 5 years.. go for the heavy heads.. wafer thin heads arnt easy to learn on..

Depends what you buy

My irons for example are Taylor Made M2s. They're more expensive, but a great set of clubs
