Ya, its like religious imperialism. Happens every few centuries im sure
Ibrahim has three very misbehaved children. They have been slaughtering each other since birth. Everyone in politics and religion is pointing their fingers at each other and screaming, "You are more evil than I am!" I've been part of it plenty of times. I'm not judging. I'm just acknowledging. I've read a lot of the Surahs and many Hadiths, and it's true. It clearly states "Allah must have not rivals." and paraphrases those same words hundreds of times, but what is the answer? Are we going to make 1.6 billion people disappear? Are we going to make 2.2 billion people disappear? Jesus or Isa said, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God." and yet more blood has been spilled in the name of God than for any other reason. What is the answer?

The fundamentalist among them are going to believe what they are taught just like the fundamentalist Christians here who want a "city on a hill" for America.
Do not think they do not want to convert the whole world to their thinking,either, because they do.
I do have to say they are not quite as radically to the point of wanting to kill people to achieve that goal.
But those muslims who have watered down or toned down the messages of their ancient book may not take it that literally. I am no expert on it though. I do have a middle eastern friend and I know a middle eastern pastor who is a Christian. Neither want to obliterate me.

@justmerae: I think there are quite a few Christians in my neighborhood, who have never considered that Christianity is a middle eastern religion, and would probably be real disappointed to find out that it came from 'over there in the sand box.' If Jesus was running the Circle K, they would go across the street to the Tom Thumb. (this is exaggeration for the sake of emphasis. I'm not trying to offend anyone.)

Yes, I am aware, but where the fault is in this idea, is that there are not enough natural resources to support them. One piece of propaganda I saw, stated that American and European countries on have 1 to 2 children, while Muslim families have on average 6 or more children. It is their theory that just by reproducing more children they will have a larger number of people to change laws and turn this into a Muslim planet, but the truth of the matter is, that if they succeeded in doing this, they risk using up all of the natural resources, and ultimately killing of their own race.

I think it is more productive to criticize that flaw than attack Muslims as a whole. Why? Because it will make them think for themselves instead of being defensive. Islam is changing and getting weaker, just like Christianity did.

@kingfish2: Fair enough, but I mostly hear it from the right, yet I see little evidence of it. ISIS is an extremist group that wants a global caliphate (and are failing miserably at it), but I don't see much evidence that this is a general aim of Muslims or Islam.

The Bible is full of horrible shit most Christians do not include in their lives, hence why I brought it up. There's almost two billion Muslims. Reading the Koran through the lens of your confirmation bias does not make you an expert. Islam is not a happy lovey religion of hugs and kisses like a lot of lefties make it out to be, but its actual adherents are just people trying to get by in life like anyone else.
