How? How can you call this a community when no one talks for more then a day or two to someone...

The secret is to find, (hard at times) and cultivate good friends and then keep them. Communication , be it great or just good, is always a two way street.

Now, you have the issue of being so young. Many in the community will not speak to you for fear of being branded a predator (women) or a pervert (men) Even though--even thought many can hold a conversation and nothing of any taboo or sexual nature is EVER brought up.

But it is hard, many do NOT see social media as a commitment. But rather as a diversion. Or a joke;a lark and a place for one off lines of humor.

But those long lasting friendships CAN be had.

Sometimes it just takes time to clear all the hurdles. And since a goodly percentage of communication is non-verbal, it takes even longer in a medium such as this...

There are people on here I have known since near the beginning of SW. We each keep some things private or hidden or in disguise, but we still have real connections. Don't give up too soon.

Most people here are not really looking for friends in my opinion. They just focus on what to do on this site. Don't nobody want someone that close to them. No offense to people who aren't like that.
