Anybody good at programming?

I'm planning a retro NES-style stealth-action game, I've got plenty of ideas and such for it, and I'm not half bad at sprite art. My issue is I'm no good at actual game-making. I know there's plenty of programs out there to help, but they're all cookie-cutter templates and blueprints that are difficult to alter.
Anybody interested in helping out?

Good stuff, except I am not particularly interested in a NES-style stealth action game. I'd need some passion for it.

You might want to look into the Unity game engine. It seems easy to adapt for designers. But you'd eventually have to code too. But there are great tutorials for that.

I can bet my life my boyfriend would love to work with you. He has been going on and on about sharing his ideas with someone else that it's at his same level of programming. He's not in this site but if you're interested I can tell him to contact you.

Game-making and programming are completely different things. There are too many examples of someone trying to be both but excelling only in either one. It's a huge task making even a simple game from scratch.

have you tried java?
pretty easy to break into gaming with that.

I haven't no, I'm terrible with coding. I tried to learn it during college and almost failed my entire course because I was so bad at it.

I would if I had the ambition

Do it yourself. You'll learn more.
