Are you an agnostic?

that means you don't know. Wouldn't that be the most honest answer there is when it comes to spirituality?

If you are atheist and say there is no God or any possibility of it, that sounds pretty arrogant doesn't it?

Yes, but atheists and theists prefer faith.
dark548 · M
Right? I'm saying, atheist sound like overly religious people too as if they know all the possibilities that exist in the universe IMO.

@dark548: No one knows, so whatever side you support if you take one are a matter of faith, because it's believing something you don't have proof or evidence in. Atheism and Theism are both different forms of faith. No one can prove higher powers, but no one can disprove them either. It's funny to see how much they hate each other. They both do the same thing.

Yes I am... I described myself as a militant agnostic some years back
dark548 · M
What does that mean (militant agnostic)?
SW-User
@dark548: it's a joke. Agnostic by definition means you're sitting on the fence, being undecided... how can you be a militant on something you are undecided?

@Nunos50: 🤔 true true
Yep. Life is too wonderous to be random and too random to be created by a divine power.
dark548 · M
🤔 Interesting
@dark548: it just means I have moments where I could go either way.

All of them know there is a Creator lord of all things. They know this deep inside their hearts and pray for forgiveness in secret for mercy. For having denied him and themselves.
dark548 · M
one can just go on and on about how there are different beliefs in the world and scientific evidence but doing it online can be futile
@Abbenthewolfserpent: I'm going to decode that sentence and I'll get back to you 🙋🏻

Damn we are getting more technical now lol
There's also a possibility evolution and plate tectonics and relativity are all wrong. Do you walk around calling yourself a science agnostic too?
dark548 · M
No just an agnostic when it come higher power spirituality matters. Evolution, plate tectonics and many things science has taught us can be wrong and have been. Question everything it is said, science is but a best guess to me.

However; some probabilities can be higher than others.
dark548 · M
I guess more like a "rational" skeptic with a bit of open mindedness.
If you admit you don't know then it's harder to argue with people.. and what's the point in identifying with a group if you can't argue with other groups 🤷‍♀️
