Whats the worst thing you did as a people pleaser to please people? or if you are not what is the worst thing you asked a people pleaser to do?

When I was younger, I always put my own needs and desires last. While I’m still a considerate person, I factor in my own wellbeing as well as others. If helping someone else is detrimental to my own health or wellbeing, then I prioritize myself. It’s like putting on your own oxygen mask first on a plane. You can’t help others if you are debilitated.

its so ingrained i can't fix it.

@nonsensiclesnail issue is my self hatred is so inmense, even when i'm over my suicide attempts from my depression i still want to die just because i hate myself.
and as long as some part of me doesn't want to heal because it hates me i don't think i can ever fix myself unless i overcome that

When one loves ones beloveds, it's called more of showering affections than pleasing them.

Professionally, it is called Duty while pleasing the ones around.

I never ask anyone to do anything, not that the reason is being a pleaser.

My whole life. Just having too much regard for other people at my own expense. But it's more about avoiding conflicts than really pleasing people though.
