That's it I'm serious I don't think I'll be driving much anymore. My eyes just aren't good.

On the way home from my trip I did fine until night fell. I was having trouble seeing as my eyes were going buggy. I found an exit to pull over and there weren't any lights to help me see. I accidentally drove into the oncoming lane. My partner told me to move over and to not be in that lane as a car was coming. I fumble my way to the gas station and they end up taking over for the last 2 hours until home. I can't do it anymore. It's just not safe. I know i said it before and never committed to it but this was different because I was endangering someone else.

that's exactly how i feel. you're fortunate to have a partner who could take over. it's really hard because i don't have anyone. i rely on public transportation now and it sucks because it's gotten so unsafe.
Have you seen an optometrist or been to an eye clinic? Don't give up until you've tried everything.

Definitely get your eyes checked! wearing glasses might fix the problem.
Yeah my mom has elderly friends that don't drive after dark because they cant see then 😬

{@deepblacknothingness] it is good too see you are being sensible and no longer prepared to put yourself and other road users in danger
