Yes, and to this day I’d still love to do it, but it never happened for me. Well not except in one nightmare, where it didn’t do me any good

@Axelerator so it was random, it wasnt done on purpose..
Axelerator · 26-30, M
@Dan193 correct. Ironically I’ve tried to go to bed with the strong intention and even keeping a dream journal, but I could never control it. It only happens with rare nightmares, and somehow makes them even worse lol

@Axelerator damn. I read that the way to do it, is buy waking up while you're in REM and then trying to fall asleep, but not at the same time. Like when you are half asleep basically, thats how u enter the lucid dreams on your own.

@Axelerator I read somewhere that the brain stores memories of nightmares in the same place where it stores memories of actual events, whereas memories of regular dreams, it has a different category for.

@LordShadowfire thats interesting. So better not revisit memories in your dreams?
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@Dan193 I don't know about that. I'm just saying your brain considers nightmares to be real. Something interesting.

@LordShadowfire oh wow, wellmaybe because you are in a state of fear and not a rational one
