I'm sorry, in what universe is this acceptable?

So I had an appointment scheduled for somebody to come out and fix our dishwasher. It has been completely non-functional for about the last two months. The appointment was for today, somewhere between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. parts arrived yesterday that may or may not be needed in repair of the dishwasher. Got a text this morning at 9:30 telling me they are still on their way.

Then, just about 3 minutes later, I got another text saying I've been rescheduled for the 9th of fuсking November, and to follow the link for more details. Damn right I wanted more details. Turns out, clicking for more details didn't we know good, other than to confirm the day and time, and to remind me that if I try to cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, there will be consequences.

Where's the consequences for them pulling this ѕhit?

The consequences are clearly approximately three weeks of washing up by hand. AKA a first world problem!

@Lauren19 It can be annoying if you took the day off work.

@JimboSaturn Exactly. While I recognize that millions of people around the world have to wash dishes by hand in the sink, we set aside the entire day to accommodate these people, only to have them do what they don't allow us to do.
