Ok what is your secret ingredient used in any recipe?

It's... *looks both ways before whispering* salt.

But for real, I'm afraid I'm not a creative enough cook to come up with any secret ingredients, so that's a little joke I say. 🙃

Unsweetened dark chocolate in Chili. And fine Masa Harina as thickening.

Soy sauce in my green bean casserole.

Ginger powder in most dishes with beef (including chili), chicken or fish. Lemon & Olive Oil is a great flavor enhancer in many types of soups.

When i make chili, cinnamon is my secret ingredient,works well with the heat from the peppers. :)

i always put a teaspoon of sugar in all my meals

What brand of balsamic vinegar do you use?

I put a bit of Greek yogurt in my chicken chili, gives it a rich taste.
