Not been to South (or North) Korea, but I have sampled Coke, Sprite etc in several Southeast Asian countries, and they do taste different. Better I think. I have heard they use cane sugar there.

Taste of Coke is indeed different (slightly). Simply because of the natural taste of water of that country.😇
