Huh somehow the coke I bought was korean.

I bought some at the asian market when I went to stock up on ingredients. I didn't pay attention that it's korean coke. I've never seen it before.

Not been to South (or North) Korea, but I have sampled Coke, Sprite etc in several Southeast Asian countries, and they do taste different. Better I think. I have heard they use cane sugar there.

Taste of Coke is indeed different (slightly). Simply because of the natural taste of water of that country.😇
