So I went looking for the company that sold me the crappy wolf mask...

I checked the return address on the package, and it's something of a dead end. It was sent from an office or some such in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, but when I looked up the address on Google Maps, I found no company that sells costume supplies at that address. A little more digging turned up a sketchy company based out of Shanghai. As it turns out, unless I'm willing to lawyer up over a $30 mask, I'm basically screwed.

You are not screwed. Call the card holding company that you used to pay and tell them that you were defrauded. Chances are they will refund your money and take the hit themselves.

If they can't get the company to remit, they claim it as a loss and use it against their tax base percentages.

@HikingMan Good idea.

@LordShadowfire All of my ideas are great.
Except after my 4th drink.
Then things get a bit iffy...

Was this over Facebook by chance?

@SW-User Nope. Google shopping.

@LordShadowfire ah, gotcha. I'm only familiar (secondhand) with some nefarious Asian e-commerce goings-on on Facebook

@SW-User The worst part is, the crooks had an address in New Jersey as their return address, but there's no such business there.

Give them a 1 star review let us know so we can bomb rate them

@empanadas I wish. I'm not even sure which website I went to, because I didn't save it like a dumbass.
