Trump has long had a "heads I win, tails you lose" approach to political theatre that has completely taken over the GOP. While hypocrisy is nothing new when it comes to politics, what particularly sickens me is how it's now the standard when it comes to rhetoric.

In 2016, Trump made several accusations of vote rigging and fraud leading up to the election [i]that he won[/i]. In 2020, while being the most powerful figure in the US, he made the same election fraud claims leading up to the election and did absolutely nothing to secure against the very allegations he was making.

It's been proven that he's gone to great lengths to illegally and unethically overturn the results of that election, yet his supporters are ardent that it's the Democrats who are the ones trying to cheat the American people. It baffles me how so far removed from any coherent logic his cultists are. They completely side-step factual evidence in favor of their blind faith in a reality TV star.

I have a feeling, despite all the bluster and even violent actions undertaken by fringe misfits, Trump is continue to lose the silent moderates, especially young and women voters whose initial support already contained a shaky level of "benefit of the doubt".

Trumpers and libs go full circle. You see violence from both, you see criminal activity from both, you see calls to defend police from both.
