Worst experience in love?

Staying loyal to a guy i was seeing for over a year while clinging onto hope that he would get serious about me and a real relationship would bloom. As much as it was obvious that i was just a booty call i still clung onto hope. He was so hot and cold towards me which confused me a lot. In the beginning we went out places and it was like he wanted to get to know me then we quit going places and eventually it just became hooking up and watching tv in silence in his room while he scrolled on his phone but i stupidly clung to hope.

I ended up ghosting him and fading out of his life slowly because after awhile everytime i saw him more of me died inside. I used to jump at the opportunity to see him and would look forward to it but then i started making excuses and saw the visits as a chore. I felt used but somewhere deep down he loved me? No i was just a idiot that got used

I’m sorry you had to go through that. Whoever that guy is, I can tell you right now that you can do a hell of lot better. Doesn’t matter how attractive he may be, if he couldn’t appreciate you then he’s not worth it. All the same, sucks that it had to happen. You’ll find another. Probably sooner than you think. 🫂

As for me, my worst experience was actually on this site, lol. I made the best connection I ever made here. We were both in committed relationships, so it’s not like anything serious could have happened, but I was still happy to have her in my life. We got along so well until one day, she just stopped talking to me and eventually blocked me for no reason that I know of to this day. I’ll never get over her. 😔

@apersonnamedit I seriously doubt it because she’d get real flirty with another user here she was close with and after she stopped talking to me, I saw that they were still real close. It just doesn’t make sense, lol. It is what it is though.

@apersonnamedit It’s the opinion of some I’ve opened up about this to that she was developing feelings for me too and became scared, so she just pushed me away. Touching, lol. But considering what I told you in my last reply, I find it hard to believe. Oh well.
