Do you think it’s selfish and rude not to tip Uber and Lyft drivers?

For my opinion I think it’s inconsiderate and very rude because they come from distance to pick people up and take them to their destinations, especially 20-30 minutes drives. You better tip them! Do not be cheap and selfish! You’re just taking advantage of them!

@Jinxie Thank you!!! They should at least rate them too! Someone told me that it’s optional they don’t have the tip on but I think you should. I agree it’s rude not to. People can be so cheap

It depends. If their car is smelly, and they're rude, and driving like a bat out of hell, no. If the service is great, the ride is enjoyable and they get you to your destination safely and on time, why not.

These folks are hustling their asses off and you get the upside by not paying time and mileage like a taxi service.

It doesn’t matter if someone says that tipping is optional and you don’t have to do it, ALWAYS TIP THE DRIVERS! They do a lot to take people places and people are selfish and cheap

People should tip strippers too because we too work our asses off as well as get assaulted and abused by customers and hardly sleep

Why would it be rude? It’s optional, but in the other hand, you should tip them. They worked their asses off to drive you place to place.
