eh, it'd come at the risk of an india-pakistan type of situation. As far as I can tell, the best option available is a secular, pluralistic democracy but obv that requires a huge change in mindset.

I'm not sure the introduction of a Christian state would do much for regional stability. Lebanon is a good example of an attempt at genuine religious tolerance and coexistence.

They'd invade each other by the end of the week. If it's one thing I know, tolerance is the exception rather than the norm.
