How to behave when your staying over at someone else's house?

I showed the person where they should put their hat in a particular cupboard on a shelf with all the other hats...
I placed their coat on a hanger and put it in the wardrobe...
Before they went to shower I mentioned the pressure was really low.

They made a sarcastic comment about me being so organised.
The second time around they put their hat on my dressing table.

They complained that I didn't have enough hangers for their coats and clothes.
But all my clothes get folded unless it's a shirt... Or they go in the laundry.

When they used the shower they said... Next time I come here ill have to use a bucket!

I would respond with,
"There is the door to leave, it works just fine.
And btw, there wont be a next time.
Bye bye."

@Mellowgirl It, for me, depends upon if there's a handy USED towel to toss down there!
Otherwise, 🤷🏻‍♂️!
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Valerian Well it's very unlikely in my house
Ingwe · F
I would like to be at your house
I am the same
There is a right place for everything
Gangstress · 41-45, F
This sounds like how i like things in their place. Bit your jacket where the jackets go.
Everything has a place, use them lol
I think the water pressure would be fine. Its common in flats anyway so i dont see why that's an issue
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Gangstress I think some people just like to give people a reason to feel inferior.
I use it every day, yes it's not a 5* hotel quality but I never leave the house stinking. It does what it's supposed to do.
It's one night out of their lifw.

its just a very silly way to be, there are bigger things going on in this world @Mellowgirl
Whyme · 46-50, M

@Mellowgirl i agree and also agree your home should be respected i just allways feel im putting others out
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Whyme never if you've been invited they're more than happy to have you.
Best you can do is return the favour and invite them round.
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Mellowgirl thats just how i feel
CharlesRomsey · 61-69, M
Well, you won't invite that lot again.
Did you invite them for the al fresco sex session in the jacuzzi? I would, just for the sh*ts and giggles.
4meAndyou · F
How rude! Well, I suppose if it's a relative, you could provide some extra hangers.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@4meAndyou not a relative someone I was dating... But long gone now
4meAndyou · F

@Mellowgirl it sounds like you’ve worked on this issue a lot (as I did) I had given up, (and live out of town so I wasn’t around to keep nagging) but apparently the neighbors kept complaining because one day the city worker just showed up and started digging and replacing the water lines in the alleyway. Even that was upsetting…. The city put off the blame, but never admited they were responsible. And never said they were going to fix it but did start repairs 2 years later!!!! Don’t stop complaining to the city and try to get neighbors to complain. You’re a sweetheart. You can always share YOUR story with your guests and give them the city councils email !!! Ha ha ha and they can send a complaint in for you. It does add up to change. Not tomorrow but eventually!
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Mindful thank you for the tips
Mindful · 56-60, F
@Mellowgirl oh and that is very annoying that if you REALLY want to fix and add a pump, they won’t cover addition repairs!!!! Keep pointing THAT out !!! Dammed if you do damned if you don’t.
