I hate trying to talk to people online

People always tell me on here to try fetlife. They have no idea how hard it is to meet people on there. Most people I try talking to don't answer at all. And when they do answer they'll rarely keep talking. It's hard to know exactly what to say to someone as a first greeting. Generally no matter what I say I still get ignored. People are kinda stuck up I think
