How exactly is ignorance bliss?

What you don’t know won’t hurt you. This is true, but unfortunately life has a really nasty way of making you find out. So it’s temporary bliss in most cases.

The whole not knowing part so not reacting to it.

Though for me, that is a delusional kind of bliss and I'd rather not have it.
