What do people mean by don’t give in when a child is throwing a huge fit?
Like when a kid throws a fit because they wanted a certain toy but just got a new toy. They say don’t give in and. Stick with no. They ignore the child.

Basically, NO means NO. It doesn’t mean “convince me”. They won’t always get what they want
